I don't know if it will work on your MAC, nor am I sure about the FAX
capabilities, but I highly recommend Time&Chaos from www.isbister.com

I have been using it for well over 5 years - it is very fast, versatile, has
a PalmPilot synch utility (available as an extra) - and it has NEVER lost
data..
