Hi,

Thanks for all the quick follow-ups. I need to provide some more info I
think.

Site traffic is in the 250,000 page view/month range(and growing) so any
solutions need to be able to handle that volume. There is a fair amount of
server/CGI load due to the number of users and applications on the site.

Shopping Cart:
Needs to function in major browsers w/o cookies and either not use cookies
at all or shut off the option.

There is currently a limited number or products and an online order form
utilizing encryption could handle the ordering process. This does not meet
the clients requested functionality of being able to maintain the cart w/o
professional help and increases the difficulty of establishing real time
credit card authorization. The CC auth is currently not in place but a
solution that integrates this with minimal effort is desired.

Banners:
Prefer to avoid using SSI for banner rotations. I'd prefer not to have to
rename all affected file or to parse all files for SSI due to the load.

PW/ID Manager:
Site has a secure members only area. Cookies are combined with IP to reduce
access sharing. PW/ID manager has to be able to scale to minimum 2,000
users and up to 5,000.

Poll:
The poll uses cookies to help reduce repeating voting.

Since cookies are a privacy concern so are 3rd party shopping cart & CC
authorization solutions (since there is little or no control over the data
collected by these 3rd party host).

Ok, I know these are easy specs. If they were I wouldn't be asking ;-)

Thanks again!
