Greetings List:

Here is an interesting approach to help you achieve two things 1) Send a
message to the benefactors of spamming 2) Maybe earn you a few bucks in
the process.

Retaliating against the spammer themselves achieves little as the majority
(if not all) of the e-mail addresses from which the spam is originally sent
are BOGUS, as such it is far more fun to direct your energy at the
"companies" who will ultimately benefit from the spam. These are the firms
who are hawking their wares via the spam, you know the ones offering CD's
with millions of e-mail addresses for $149.00 or access to smut sites ect ...

Send an e-mail to the owner of the domain who will ultimately benefit from
the spam, indicating that you have now proof read their material and as
such have issued them an Invoice for $100.00.

To hammer home the point that you expect payment for your services,
indicate that if your Invoice is not paid you'll send it for Collection. A
few hundred of these Invoices and perhaps they spam benefactors may get the
message we don't like SPAM.
