Hi again,

Just a couple of thoughts about advertising.

The following is the conclusions that I have come up with about advertising
your design business. Whether it be in newspapers, lamp posts or your car.
Since most business people know about the Internet and it's uses (Open any
newspaper and there is bound to be an article about it), use advertising to
brand your business. Because what you want now is that your name should be
the first name to 'pop' into his/her head when they finally decide to get a
web site. I personally think that advertising money is better spent getting
your name into relevant business directories (ie yellow pages).

I get all my business through yellow pages, word-of-mouth and repeat
business. My advertising 'stunt' in the local newspapers did not deliver.
Don't expect immediate result from newspaper adverts or your name on your car.

Oh, OK that was only one thought...time for bed :-)

Regards,
Thilo
