As the old saying goes: you can lead a horse to water ...

But seriously, Spam has reached unbelievable levels in the past 3-6 months, and it is seriously endangering the credibility of anything that comes in via email these days. Senior people and decision makers are changing their policies so that someone else gets all their incoming email and they have secret addresses that they only give out to a few people, and change when they become too well known.

In other words if you want to get through to anyone at these clients who matters, the odds are it would better to go the old traditional route of phone calls, snail mail and meetings. People are seriously concerned about Search Engines, especially marketing people and business owners, but they need a credible source to convince them you have any value to offer, and email just doesn't cut it right now.
