Affiliate Programs

Hello, All!  :)

Thought I'd run this by you and see if anyone is still out there in 
HWG-Business-land!  I sure hope so.... I remember the days when this list 
cranked!

I have a client who wants to setup their own affiliate program and I was 
wondering what your experiences are in regard to setting up your own 
programs and if you can share your experiences.  Some of the questions that 
have come up are:

=> What criteria have you used to determine what the affiliates get as 
compensation?  A percentage of sales and what structure?

=> Did you have an attorney create your agreement or did you use a boiler 
plate found online and where?

=> What was the payment schedule used? Monthly, quarterly, etc.?

=> Did you have a minimum amount of sales required to be generated (or 
minimum amount of commissions due) before you issued your payment check?

=> Are you aware of any good online resources I can send clients to so they 
may review all the issues important to running a successful affiliate program?

=> Have I asked enough questions?  ;-)

Seriously, any information or feedback you have on this subject that should 
be considered would be greatly appreciated!
