Geocities Branding

I have noticed that several members have been talking about the branding on
geocities pages.. The requirement to put ads on pages to avoid pop-up ads
and so forth. Being the bug-finder that I have always been (i found the IE4
frameset bug), I have now found a way 'around' pop-up boxes and watermarks.
My results are preliminary, I have only checked my results with IE4.. but
I'm sure they'll work on NS fine (I'll be checking this weekend).  I'm not
trying to be malicious to Geocities, I'm not really a homesteader.. I'm just
interested in finding ways around their technology.

As it's off-topic in this group I suggest that if you want to receieve the
code for removing pop-up ads and watermarks from your Geocities web pages,
that you email me at  pete(at)whatpage.com. I'll send the tested code out as
soon as I've checked it in Netscape!

A news.com reporter has been quizzing me about this 'development', seems the
press are a little interested.. *laugh*
