I fear some people think a spell-checker is the last word, butt off coarse
it dozen ketch sum problems (see what I mean?). Proof-reading is extremely
difficult, because we often "auto-correct" in our heads and don't even spot
the goofs. I had an editor once who would read copy from the bottom up.
Since the text didn't make much sense that way, he found it easier to spot
errors. That's probably going a bit too far, but still, designers should at
at least run the page past of a few offline readers before going public.
