Well, first thing I tried to do was click on the shield....The link is
outside of view at 800x600 and that shield is ripe for clicking. I would
remove the text link altogether. ALL CAPS IS REALLY ANNOYING, AND ALSO MUCH
MORE DIFFICULT TO READ than regular text. i would suggest all lower case
letters before i would all caps. it adds a bahaus attitude to things. The
lack of fonts was the major thing that bugged me. Times New Roman makes me
twitch. I was expecting much worse from the way you said things...don't
knock it too much!!

Subject: A favor, please
First of all, let me say "Good day!" I've been a silent watcher to
this list for quite some time now, and I think now is the time to
come out of the shadows and have something critiqued. However,
before I do, let me explain a little bit about what I want.
I am a student at Concordia College, Ann Arbor, and I have been
involved with web design for about two years now. Recently, the home
page of Concordia underwent revisions, and that's the reason that I'm
appealing to you people.
The team that redesigned the site for the most part had no clue about
web design, but unfortunately they were incredibly stubborn. Once
they had an idea they liked, they refused to change, regardless of
how the students felt about it. In fact, this is the case with the
entire site. I know of no student, especially those with experience
in web design, that likes the site, and I was hoping that I could
help to urge the team to once again redesign the site, and that's
where I would like your help. Please critique the site
and do with it what you will.
I look forward to hearing your responses.
