I would appreciate some feedback on the site listed above.

It is a school site.  School colors are black and gold and the mascot is a
serpent. The graphic used is the "official" school logo that appears on
letterhead, etc.   That was a real trip to work with.

I have tried to walk the line between those school sites that are boringly
informational and those that load the site with nothing but graphics.

My goal was to provide a basic format to provide site unity to which
students and teachers could add (the site will permanently be "under
construction").  Student web designers will be working on this site starting
in the spring.  One teacher has already done so at:

I would appreciate comments on all design elements.  Please feel free to
answer through the list or privately.
