RE: Critique Request

Congratulations on getting your first client.  Overall nice job, here
are the things I noticed. 

- NOTICED: Top image and bottom text link are the only way's to get
home.
- PROBLEM: This could potentially cause a user to have to "think".  This
is not usually good.
- FIX: Add a home button to the navigation on the left.

- NOTICED: Contact form requires an email.
- PROBLEM: The average person is EXTREMLY lazy - they may not use the
email link or especially a letter, as a means of contacting.
- FIX: Add a quick and easy form.  Have two lines, email address, and
message.  This has been proven to be the result under extensive
usability tests.  Provide all three - it can't hurt, and you will see
what I mean.

- NOTICED: Commitment page has John Hancock's signature. (No pun
intended) 
- PROBLEM: It is not a good safety / security measure to put his real
signature on the website.  It may be a nice "comforting" gesture - but
overall not save at all.  
- FIX: Remove the image, the text you have under the signature is fine.

- NOTICED: Keyword and other important if not VITAL META tags are
missing.
- PROBLEM: Search engines will not be able to index your site
appropriately.  Your length of text on each page is significant on each,
this is good.  But without these common tags - many engines will not
index you.
- FIX: Add the keywords META tag.

- NOTICED: Alt tags for your images are not specific.
- PROBLEM: Search engines also use alt tags during the index process.
- FIX: Add alt tags to all of your images - make them keyword intensive
but do not abuse it.

I only use and develop for IE 4+ browsers.  According to all of my
traffic logs only 12% of traffic comes from any other browsers.  I am
using Windows XP currently.
