Magikk:

Here are my suggestions for improving your site:

1. Get rid of the automatically loading MIDI file. You're immediately
narrowing your audience the minute it begins to play, as some people either
don't have your taste in music or have such an inferior sound card that the
MIDI probably won't sound to the user like it does on your own machine.

2. Almost all the images on your page look distorted in some way. I'm
assuming this is because you don't have the correct/proportional height and
width attributes for the images. I know you are trying to make the table of
images as symmetrical as possible, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the
images themselves.

3. Eliminate the borders around your images by adding the "border=0"
attribute. They are already obvious to the visitor that they are links.

4. Don't get carried away with the line separators, especially the animated
ones (like your "liteline.gif").

5. Get rid of the pop-up window that reads, "Welcome to my Hell!" Users
don't like to have to close windows in order to get to the content of your
site.

6. Finally, put more faith in your own artistic abilities than succumbing
to what "other web pages" look like. When I visited your site, my immediate
impression was that you took a standard web page template and simply filled
it in with your own personal data. Let your own instincts take precedence
over someone else's first and foremost, but be open to criticism.

This site reminds me so much of what mine looked like when I first started
learning the basics a few years ago. I was more excited about having my own
place on the Internet for the world to see than the design of the site
itself. I hope you don't take that as insulting, as it is not meant to be.

Take care,

Mike
