K, first critique. I personally HATE introduction pages. When i go to a web
page I go for information, I want it as quick as possible, I have a slow
computer and dont really care to wait through all that time to see a splash
screen. I would much rather be waiting on the actual info. If your gonna
keep one, have a text link to the next page so I can clikc it before having
to wait for the enter graphic to load (you need Alt Tags too)

Frames are nice, but on the nav frame....i had my window half size, and
couldnt see all the nav bar....either use tables or allow the scroll bar to
show in that window. (IMHO)

Personally I think the picture of u should go on the about me page..

K, here is the basic critique: Great site, especially for a relative
beginner. I am a 17 y/o web designer, I currently am teaching a couple
students HTML, I think you did an excellent job. I like your use of fonts,
nice color choice to IMHO. I would do away with the 'splash' screen. Your
page loads quickly. You need to add the ALT tags to your images. Make sure
you check spelling too, mispelled words tend to make people think you arent
so smart (which I can see isnt true).

Some personal experience from being a 'student web master.' Offer to do your
school's web page...it might be a lot of work, but it will be worth it. Not
only will you get local recognition..and practice, but it looks GREAT on a
resumee for scholarships etc. Be willing to help others with their
HTML....and for a while do it for free....untill you get a good set of
'reference accounts.' Then start selling your work...its worth the money.
Having that good set of people that know how good your work is, and are
willing to support it is really helpfull....you will be suprised how many
people (companies) will want you to make their web page just from your own
city when you do that.

OK, if you have any other questions feel free to ask. These are just some of
my opinions. Talk to ya later,

Chris Sims
