Mike, I think I mistated that. I agree you get what you pay for. But hosting a site has nothing to do with how your site is designed, they are two different aspects. You can have a hot site and a bad hoster or vise versa. There are people out there like myself who charge _way_ less than an ISP would (and, *smile* more than a dollar month) and who do a wonderful job of maintaining a site and keeping it up and running. I buy web space and offer hosting to my clients if they so choose. And domains hosted by me are on a server with a connectivity to the internet of OC12. My motto is "Affordable Internet Marketing". joyce -----Original Message----- From: mike <mike(at)vallejonet.net> To: Taylor-Made <taymade(at)netnitco.net>; hwg-critique(at)hwg.org <hwg-critique(at)hwg.org> Date: Friday, March 12, 1999 6:42 PM Subject: Re: Aerowings site >Hi Melanie, > >I haven't look at your site yet, but to answer a couple of your other >questions. They all do the same thing I totally DISAGREE!!!!!!! A $5.00 a month could never match the services we strive on. The real truth to this is you get what you pay for. If you wanna be on a shared T1 with 5,000 other domains and be down everyday go with the $5.00 a month. If you want services that will make your site stand out, limited users per T1 and tech support when you need it then spend at least $20.00 per month for hosting. I think going with a web designer or a ISP that offers hosting is better too then just a hosting company as they will have less domains usally to share bandwidth with.
