Hi Steve,

a tip first: don't write CODE for a link in an email because mailers like
Outlook Express turn everything into a live link that contains "@" or "http"
when you hit ENTER after typing in... but sometimes they may enclose
additional characters when those are close to the link text, like the "</"
in this case. Thus, people wanting to look at your site won't get a 404,
early in the morning, when Morpheus still tries to keep their brains ;-)))
People using other mailers may just cut and paste the link text into their
browser...

The pages I looked at: well-structured content, easy to read, looking good,
helpful information.

Remarks: I'd warn people of the big size of the frontcover before they
follow the link. The country flags are too big, IMO. On page 'mary.htm' I
missed the pic on right side of description (just for consistency of the
look).

Homepage: there's no alt text for picture of bag - please add it for your
disabled visitors using screenreaders.

Tips: the spinning globe looks really bad.. there are better rendered ones
on the web (can send you if you want). Does it really need to be animated?

Highlander: "wpe5.jpg (3445 bytes)" is a poor alt text. There should be more
whitespace between "This eliminates the Value Added Tax from the cost of the
item [missing full stop]" and "Additional Highland Store Information " to
separate them clearly. Under "Telephone & Fax numbers:" you find "Tel:+44
(0) 20 7727 0667 . Fax:+44 (0) 20 7727 3344 . E-mail:" - think the latter
should be removed.

Sindy: same missing whitespace. In the description you read "Located in
Piazza Dei Ciompi "Name of Store" is known for..." - put in Sindy's name :-)

Mary: Please get rid of that "Under Construction" thing!! People will hate
it... it is mega-out, at least here in Germany ;-) Suggestion:
a) just tell them "Coming soon!" or something simple like that so they will
be looking again later.
b) turn the "Mary's Hints" link into simple text until the page is ready so
they know it's coming soon.

HTH! Keep on working...
