JAWS is a text to speech screen reader which converts the text which appears on the screen to
synthetic speech. The software also supports Braille displays as well. I will have to ask a sited
friend where the alt tags should go. I wonder if moving that intro video to the video gallery would
reduce the load time?

Wow, the load time is pretty bad. This is really helping out. thanks.
Photo gallery area is pretty compact and doesn't load till ya go
there. I'm guessing it probably has to do with the huge masthead
image and the homepage has the 'next race' vignette which is quite
large.

hmmm, never heard of JAWS. Is it a browser that 'reads' the site? I
believe it might have been the Search the site field. EMT sent us
that code and its becomming more and more evident they left quite a
bit of info out. Laziness on my part to check it *laughs*.

Could you give me a suggestion where the alt tags should go? I've
tried to cover most bases but stuff just slips by. Text size has
always been a problem. Clients pick weird sizes but if sizing is too
small all the way around I'll see about begging them to go up a size.
Thanks for the feedback it really helped me see what those that might
have a hard time seeing would miss. Good stuff!
