I have only seen one poster on this list post critiques that I felt were too
harsh and actually downright rude. Yes, I know one or two people had
problems with my honest critique of the $ site, but IHMO, that is their
problem. I stand behind the critique and don't feel that is was one bit out
of line. THAT was my reaction to the site, the poster needs to know what
people feel.

When asking for a critique, I trust people are asking for an honest opinion.
Note I skipped critiquing that site the first time around because I indeed
did not have anything good to say about it.

My bottom line (and I will be happy to not submit any more critiques if the
majority of the members disagree or anyone who asks for a critique includes
a note "katsuey, your critique not wanted") is that if someone values my
opinion enough to ask for me to spend my valuable time (at least to me and
my clients) - I'm going to give it to them when I take time to look at their
site. If fluffy words are preferred, regardless of my true opinion, I'll
set up a fluffy autoresponder and not waste my time.

To me, the artist site we saw again this morning is a perfect example of one
who is really wanting to learn and does indeed learn from others opinions.
His site the first time around was not good at all; now, thanks to
listening, taking suggestions and expending the time to implement
suggestions, it's excellent!
