Hi Scott,
Sux when u don't get a critique, here I go with mine =) Everything below
should be taken as constructive criticism =)
-On the first page, the logo/image has a border. You should correct this
by adding a BORDER=0 to the <IMG> tag.
-The Top 1000 Logo should not be on the main page. It distracts people
away from your site.
-The background on that page is kinda busy.. See if you can use a more
even background, or use a plain color.
I don't care much for the layout of the page, to be perfectly honest.
I'd rather see the navigation on top, so it's the first thing I see.
Having to scroll all the way down to get anywhere can be annoying. It's
ok if you are doing it on the individual pages (i.e. that they can jump
around by using say an image map or a table that's at the bottom of the
page), but not in your first page.
Seems tehre is just wayyyyyyyy too much information on that first page
(main.html), and you need to scroll a lot to get to all of it. It's like
it lacks organization. I would replace that main page with what you have
at the top of main.html, that image looks very good. Then the main.html
should consist of the navigation, and the web ring or whatever if you
want to keep that. I don't like habving to scroll down to get to the
main navigation.
In general, there is a lot of content (which is a great thing), but IMO,
it's poorly organized. I think you could make a more interesting
navigation system since you do have so many links, by making new pages
out of the stuff at the bottom of main.html.
