I like the new design a lot for your subject. (I say that because it 
wouldn't suit a lot of sites, but for this it's a nice match.)

I didn't understand the "L" shape at the top at first--now I'm guessing 
it's like a hanger for the "book" to hang on a rack? Perhaps you could 
show the end of the rack, or give some spage between the red bar and the 
"book"; or make the "book" hang from the red bar?

Misspelling: "old jelly sandich"

The "<-- Back" link seems out of place, location-wise. On my monitor, 
it's next to the vertical part of the bottom red pipe. I also think the 
word "back" is confusing: sometimes it means "up one level in the 
navigational hierarchy" and other times it means "back to whatever page 
you just came from."

But other than those, you've done a nice job.
