Roger, it seems really flat. Orange type on blue, blue type on
orange, etc. I found the first para on the welcome screen
insulting: "who do not ... possess the ... ability to do so for
themselves."
The mousovers work well, but I don't like the lavendar color that
marks which page I'm on. Call it personal preference.
Contact page: the form loaded fine. The email link, grey on orange,
is impossible to read unless I use my mouse to highlight it. Same
with the "Silver" and "Silver Plus", and "Maintenance only" color
combos.
I, as a customer, wouldn't care that you're a member of HWG--but I
certainly don't want to see it on EVERY page.
Here's what I would suggest:
1. I think your first area of concentration should be your copy. For
instance, "We might recommend a smaller, or a larger site but,
whatever we recommend, it's your decision, as you are the client, not
us, and it's you we provide a service for." makes sense (the second
time through), but is cumbersome.
2. Address your design. It's unoriginal and the colors clash. (The
clip art on the "how we do it" page is a terrific example of a bad
combination.)
IE5.0, 1024x768, 32 bit color, win95, T1.
Good luck,
Susan
