First ... a qualifier ... I am not a fan of FP sites

that said ... you have a good start ... but a few things stand out as
unprofessional here ... you have several links with those little tails which
occur when you leave spaces in your tags. The visible borders
around the graphic links don't work for me ... BUT ... the teal color you
have chosen for the links doesn't fit with the red / blue / black
scheme ... maybe if you used a different blue or a red for them they
might blend into the total look better.

On the graphics sample page you give a download time ... well on my machine
with my connection it was a third of that ... I don't think you need that on
there ... also the alternative page link ... good
design should be liquid ... I am not going to design sites for each
platform and browser and resolution ... with all the variables I might get
one site a year done ... good clean valid coding avoiding
browser specific tags and containing your layout with a scalable table
takes care of 99.9% of those problems.

this is supposed to be a site for your web design business .. I think that
your commitment to do family safe sites and specialize in church
sites is fine. But that stuff would be better on an about me page ..
I would lose everything below the HWG logo ... including the counter...
except the copyright statement and maybe the W3 validate
button .. (personally the logo and validator button would go too)

truthfully I like the alternate site better .. cleaner layout and a
more consistent look ... I know you said this is a new site design ..
but I would seriously consider emulating the old one .. add the hover
buttons and change those links to your sample sites from the url's to a site
title like " XYZ Photography Club Pages" and a small
blurb about what the purpose of the site is ... change the link color
to something a little closer to the basic red and blue you have going
and lose the centered everything look ... esp on your policy
page where you have more text ... use the new front page and that logo and
the contact info. Swap the logo and a simpler page heading for the large
graphics on the old pages and you would have a nice site.

my nickels worth ...
