Introductions

Hello, I'm pretty new to this list, so let me begin by
introducing myself. I currently live in Norwalk, Ohio,
and work in Toledo, Ohio as the Team Leader for a
Fortune 500 company's internal IT help desk. I've been

"playing" with web design for about six years now.
Recently though, I received several requests to create
professional sites for businesses or organizations, so
I thought it might be time to have a formal business 
of my own. It's still a weekend job for me, but as my
client list grows, I can certainly see myself working
on web design full time.

So, far starters, I created a site for myself: 
http://www.maplecitydesign.com/  
(Norwalk is referred to as the "Maple City", thus the
name.)

I'll be the first to admit that I'm still learning
design principles and techniques, so feel free to be
as critical as you like. If you're interested, there
are also two other sites linked on the portfolio page 
that you may feel free to critique, although I'd
assume that any mistakes made on my business site are
probably duplicated on others.

I have two clients right now, so I will certainly be
taking your thoughts seriously and will apply them to
my current work. Thanks in advance!
