Critique and comparson requested

I'm having some reports of problems on my site with a new proposed
layout... the current site is http://www.scriptingcrypt.com the proposed
and the layout i perfer is at http://www.scriptingcrypt.com/work/ could
everyone please take a look at it and tell me what they see? and if it
looks "garbled" could you please send me personally an attached screen
shot? (its impolite to send it to the list)
