I would like to thank those of you that gave me constructive input about my
site.
To Chuck McGee; thank you for the knowledgeable reply..indeed being
somewhat more inexperienced than many of you on this list, I have listened
to your critiques and comments, both on this list and the others. Having
concluded that filling a page full of custom graphics and glitz is not the
way to go I choose a simple layout for my pages. At first using Netscape
Commucator 4.04 composer and then learning that it fills the page with more
trash than anything I switched to just using IE3.0 and notepad. I enjoy
using the notepad for my editing because I can get into the HTML and also
see what I am doing. I have decided against using Netscape Composer in the
future, instead relying on simple HTML.
To B. Szyszka; Your honest answer was helpful.

First page, http://www.dibbs.net/raindropweb
On this page I had chosen to welcome my guest and usher them into my
site. This page was not meant to be seen again once the visitor came
inside. All the content reachable from the first page is also reachable
from all the others.

History page http://www.dibbs.net/raindropweb/history.htm
I will expand on this page somewhat. My target audience is local
small business. I have chosen to present the website so that they may keep
in touch with me. In the future I will add an account maintenance form. I
would rather speak to the person over the phone or at a meeting because I
feel that I would like to keep a personal feel to my business.

Services page http://www.dibbs.net/raindropweb/service.htm
This page will also be expanded in more detail, thanks for bringing it to
my attention. My company deals specifically with Web Page design. We will
do custom graphics for web pages but the overall goal is to develop and
maintain 20 to 30 web pages that are readable by the most people on the
most platforms.

Examples page http://www.dibbs.net/raindropweb/examples.htm
This page is still under construction. It will include both links to
clients web pages and examples of what we can do for a company based on a
tier package: 5 Tier, 10 Tier and 15 Tier. The details on these packages
will also be included when the examples are finished. As for client's
pages. I currently am working on web pages for clients, none of them are
completed yet, so I choose not to show them off to potential clients. In
the future when I have touched the web a bit more it will be a more
impressive page.

I will also combine the contact us and the form page for I was going to do
that anyway. The forms page was not yet completed to my satisfaction so I
was keeping it apart from the main site. I only linked it so that I could
get feedback.

As for the code...I am learning to trust what I type in notepad more than I
am the WYSIWYG type editors...as I learn more my pages will reflect this.

Thank you for giving me the needed push(even shove) in the right direction.
   Sincerely
       Jurden Bruce
