Site looks pretty good. Download time was not bad for any of the pages
(except poetry page due to the Poetry webring graphics)
You might want to add something to the main page. It looks kind of drab. It
needs a graphic or logo of sorts. 
Poetry page needs the bg image toned down a tad. It over powers the text.
