Hi Matt,

http://web.access.net.au/bentonproduction/
P200MMX, Win95, 800x600, 640x480, 24 bits, MSIE 3.02, 33,6 bps
All IMHO! 2. January 1998, 02:43

I don't have much to say about what you ask about, but I would like you to
know that your frames , both, scrolls both hor'l and ver'l and it doesn't
look very nice. And that's in 800x600. In 640x480 it looks better, only the
main frame scolls.
You should design for 640x480 and without frames IMO. Gifs menu 1-5 don't
look too good either. They would look much better if you got them
smoothened out a bit. It looks like it was done on purpose, but still: it
doesn't look good.
The mainpage overall feel is that it was made in a business like hurry. All
business sites doesn't have to dull. Make something more of it, and I'm
talking especially about graphics. You have too much text in proportion to
the graphics part. Also, I wouldn't make the header "Benton Produtions" as
HTML text. At least I wouldn't pay you to type that with <H1> or whatever
to enclose it. Be creative!
You should move the textbit "who endeavor to promote and foster projects
which reflect compassion and respect for the Earth and all its
inhabitants." to the table above, next to the picture. There's too little
text in there for MSIE normal font size 800x600 but it looks normal in
640x480. Anyway, experiment with it and find a slightly better solution.

>
>- - coherence, does everything appear in the same font etc.?

looks good

>- - speed/load time from your end of the globe

a fine 8-10 seconds in Norway, but I wouldn't mind waiting longer for
better gfx.

>- - do you think that a page counter would be appropriate?

no! at least not a visible one.

Well, have a great new year!
