Ok, here's a pet peeve of mine I post about every time I request a post
publicly in here...
How about more meaning full SUBJECT LINES? it does make browsing though the
many messages a whole lot easier!?!?!?

:-) ok, now on to my request hehe.

I am requesting a critique on a business site I have designed for a
friend's business.

I am mainly looking for the following items:

How the page looks in different browsers, OS's, and resolutions, especially
any on MAC's, and IE 4.0 for win 95, anything on Win 3.11, and any others
for UNIX based OS's. OH YEAH, Web TV users. I found out recently that pages
I had designed for a 640x480 screen are too wide for my uncles Web TV
system. (I don't know if you can change the settings or what??)

(I have checked it at different resolutions in NN 3.04, NC 4.?, IE 3.0 all
for Win95, and NC4.x for Linux)

I would especially be interested in the opinions of those who normally
browse at 256 colors. I checked it at that color depth, but because I'm
used to 16 bit color, any page seems to look bad at that color depth to me.

I went through about 5 different sets of maps for the Area Map page. (they
are my own original creations) We felt that with the area in which business
is done, that they contain enough information as how to get to the close up
map. I am looking for if they seem to fit in well, and if the directions
are not too long winded and make some sense (I tend to get long winded :(

I am also looking for information on the load times.

Please note, that this site is not intended as a full features site for a
company, but merely an online version of a company brochure. However, any
suggestions as to what to add to it to make it look better would be
appreciated. (I hope to have actual photos of the shop, and some of it's
machines online soon. That will be a while though getting everything
planned for that).

If you could, please include with your critique the standard info such as:

Computer Type (Fast new system, older but still decent, or old ready to be
upgraded system)
Connection Speed
Operating System
Browser
Screen Resolution
Color Depth (16, 256, 16but, 32bit etc..)
Model of your mouse (Just kidding ;-)

Thank you in advance for your help.
