I've been all over the site, and it's really very good. :o) Well
thought out, well laid out, well worded, and interesting to read. My
only two notes on the site are these:

1.) January is misspelled, first page, where it refers to your counter.
Not a big deal, frankly.

2.) the non-bold black text is a bit hard to read throughout the
site. It seems to be caused by the shadows on the background
image blending with the text to confuse the eye just enough. While it
*is* still legible for the most part, I do find that after reading it for
some time, it tends to strain the eyes. My suggestions are to

1.) change the background from an image file to a plain colored
background in the same brown (which looks very nice with the graphics, I
must admit)

2.) change all the plain black text to bold, which will help to make it
more legible from the background shadowing

3.) edit your background image and fade the shadows a bit

4.) Change the text from black to something brighter, perhaps in an
ecru?

The only real problem with suggestion 1 is that matching that color can
be tough for someone who's not familiar with graphic programs, and how to
translate from color values to hex, which can leave a lot of it to
guesswork. Suggestion 3 also has a bit of a problem, in that by
lightening/darkening/blurring the image you can once again throw off the
color balance, and cause your background to not match your other graphics
quite as well as it does now.

Of course, there are some HTML purists out there who'd tell me that pure
bold on a site is the height of tackniess, as well. So take suggestion 2
at your own risk. :o)

That's my two cents. Discard it, or save up and buy a coke. :o)
