Hello everyone!

At http://pricklypear.addr.com/tour/nographics.html
I am doing a little experiment. I am toying around with Dynamic Fonts and
colored table cells to try and create a fairly attractive page that does
not contain graphics. Yes, I know that font files have to be downloaded,
but the sizes on the files is actually as low as most small graphic files,
and there are 3 files in use for this page. If I had used gifs to create
all the blocks and the 'buttons' etc to create the page it would be pretty
big.
Anyhow, my assumption (hope) is that there will different levels of
graceful degrading of this page. For 4.0 browsers you should see it
exactly as meant with fonts and all. For less than 4.0 you should see it
with the colored blocks and with my default fonts. For other browsers
(ones that do not read colored table cells) you should still be able to
clearly read all the text.

What I am concerned about is-
*Can you see the dynamic fonts in IE 4?
I have IE3 for testing purposes and do not have 4....so I could not
test on this browser. I have included a special call for an activex
control that should allow IE4 to read the same dynamic font files that
are used for Netscape 4, but have no idea if it is working.

*Do you get anything "funky" in any form of browser?

Like I said, this is an experiment. The content is pretty boring, and the
link buttons dont work (those pages dont exist). I am thinking of
including this page as an example in a tour that is really just in the
drawing board stages right now.

Thanks everyone.
