Thank you all so much!  
I am so glad that someone with IE4 was able to visit.  I was unaware that
those users would be prompted to 'download' the font, while in netscape it
was automatic.  I guess that is a minor complaint, seeing as how until a
short time ago there was not a single supported format for Dynamic Fonts
between NS and IE.
Also, about the poor quality of the text that was over the colored
areas.....I guess that is a price you pay when you don't use a graphic.  

I would say the experiment page was a success and will make it into the
tour.  Of course, you won't see me designing anything too important in that
format just yet....much too jittery.

If anyone is interested in the info I found on where to get the list of
publicly available dynamic fonts and how to link them etc...
