Need Critique of Website

Hi All,

Need critique of website I'm building.  You can find it at
http://home1.gte.net/spitlist/  As you will see, the site is still
definitely under construction.  I'm having trouble with the links all being
bunched up on the left, I wish they were all one line each.  The guy I'm
setting this up for wants them on the left side of the main text like that
for sure.  Please let me know what you think.  I've never done tables
before, that's why I've set it up like this.  I'm also interested in what
it looks like in older browsers.  I've only been able to check it out in IE
4.01 and Netscape 4.04
