Hello, hwg-critique zubzcribers!

Members of the HWG have recently been working on the Accessibility
Guidelines Implementation (AGI) Project -- which seeks to "test"
the W3C's guidelines for accessible web design by putting them to
work on members' websites. Full details of the AGI project can be
found at:

     http://www.hwg.org/opcenter/projects/agi.html

One of the requirements of the AGI project is that sites receive
at least one critique, and perhaps two -- one at the end, and if
possible, one before any "accessibility retrofitting" is done. For
this we're going to use the hwg-critique mailing list -- as it's
both intended for critiques, and the exposure to a wider number
of viewpoints will definitely be of great value to the AGI
participants.

What we ask of you on -critique is that you review the sites as
you normally would -- offering constructive and helpful criticism,
and praise when deserved -- with a special emphasis on issues of
accessibility. Is the page usable without images turned on? Can
you navigate by keyboard? Is this page usable with an old
browser?

The AGI posts will all have 'AGI' in the subject line, for easy
identification. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in
assessing the accessibility of these sites. If you need further
information on accessible design, feel free to explore the links
on the AGI page, at the URL given above.
