Word Play Critique

Hello there,

I'd like to request a critique of http://www.photobooks.com/~poof/ known as
 <a href="http://www.photobooks.com/~poof/" target="new">Word Play</a>...

Please do give me comments on the "feel" of the site, as well as possible
improvements in presentation, navigation, load time, and anything else you
can think of to comment on. I'll accept all critiquers.. I'm not too
worried about validation, unless you find some serious errors, (broken
links, messed up tables, etc.) 

Please don't worry about the actual individual poems and their
presentation.. I haven't finished working on those yet, so the layout
remains a bit outdated and awkward. I'm looking for comments more on the
first "layers".. any page that has the peachy graphic headings is fair game.
