If I left-click, there is a period where the browser seems to be
downloading something, (it does not load up the Acrobat plugin),
and then displays a completely white page. View Source on this
page gives me:
< h t m l > < b o d y l e f t m a r g i n = 0 t o p m a r g i n = 0 s c r o l l = n o > < e m b e d w i d t h = 1 0 0 % h e i g h t = 1 0 0 % f u l l s c r e e n = y e s s r c = " h t t p : / / w w w . g e o c i t i e s . c o m / s a n d y d k 1 / m a r c h l e r n . p d f " > < / b o d y > < / h t m l >
If I right-click and choose download, I get a pop-up message saying
it cannot download the document.
Assuming the document really is on the server, I would guess that
the problem is that Geocities' (home-grown?) web server software
doesn't deliver PDF documents correctly. However, you imply that
the problem is only for PC users in IE5. What platforms/browsers
do deliver the file for you correctly?
