Hi Chip,

It's a nice site with lots of great content. I'm afraid I'm not a
huge racing fan, but I'd sure be spending some time at your site if I
was.

I like the dynamically created tables (except for some layout probs
we'll discuss in a moment). How did you do those? Are they SSI via
XbitHack or something? I'd be very curious to know whether you used
an actual database product, manipulated flat files, etc..

The tables need some work. I tested the site in MSIE 3.02, NS Gold
3.04 and NS Communicator 4.04. Everything works pretty well in MSIE
3.02, but:

In NS 3.04: in
http://www.fanlinks.com/wc_drivers.html?driver=0&submit=Get+List (for
instance) the table background flag does not appear at all, which is
ok, but the tables overlap. The dynamic table winds up partially on
top of the mouseover menu, and the "Select Car #" menu winds up
completely on top of the right side of the dynamic table.

In NS 4.04 the background flag appears, and the tables aren't on top
of each other, but the table row backgrounds don't work. They come
out as white, leaving the flag below rather mottled looking.

I did a little playing around with it.. I was thinking that if you put
the center generated table inside a one cell table with the flag as
the background image for that table, it might fix the NS problem, but
it didn't.

However, I did find that if you make the main table 100% wide and
remove ALL of the width attributes from the inside tables, rows,
cells, etc., it looks pretty good in all of the browsers I checked,
and very much like you intended.

Hope this helps..
