criqitue SWO (and trying to replicate a problem)

New poster here, please be kind. <grin>

I'm starting on a client's site:

and want to know what your initial impressions of the index page are. The
client can't really afford anything too fancy to begin with, so I'm going
with something simple. I mainly just want to know how trite it looks, as I
want to make sure visitors will trust the site enough to buy online. Please
don't go into the interior pages -- I'm still working on those and they're
all just the index page with broken graphics.  Please especially respond if
you're using AOL.  The client is selling a product that is especially
useful for doctors, and most doctors I know are using that provider.

And on to "The problem":

I was messing around with resizing netscape (4.5 on a WIN98, 16Bit High
Color, 1024x768) and found my search field bouncing all over the screen.  I
haven't completely cleaned up my code yet, but will someone else resize
their window a couple of times and tell me if they have the same thing happen?

If you would respond to me directly instead of the list, that'd be great.
