Howdy, 1st page: You have lots of big text. With everything so big it is hard to separate out headings. The background is nice an subdued but I don't see what it really adds to the site or how it fits in with the theme. When in doubt I always stick with a white background. The text is all centered which can make for difficult reading. Avoid the use of overused phrases like "Welcome to the website of" visitors know they are at a website and they know they are welcome. You have tons of information throughout the site, that makes it even more important to give visitors a easy, obvious, and clear means of navigating. Take some of the information off of the first page and put it elsewhere in the site. Keep pages short and confined to a single topic. The big photo on http://cthulhu.control.com/~emoore/tenth/tenth1.html seems to have been saved as a transparent Gif. Save is as a Jpg instead, or at least get rid of the transparency, it makes the background show through and looks really weird. Good though, tons of information.
