I like the color scheme but the layout needs a good deal of reorganizing.

Heres' what I would do:

Center the Ash Chocolate and your banner along with the link buttons.

You don't have a lot of information on that first page, so I would be
inclined to make the layout more horizontal than vertical to close up all
those gaps. I would make the box containing the graphics more compact and I
would even be inclined to use a decorative 3D font or something for
"Artists", rather than a picture because as it is, it just kinda blends in
with the other pics and doesn't stand out. Then you could put your three
pics underneath it.

No reason why it couldn't be right aligned with the text underneath the box.

I would make the buttons on the left hand side smaller and the font size a
little larger, making it easier to read and making them look like they
belong to each other. Once again...compacting it and move it sufficiently
to the right, so that it's in balance with what is right aligned.

I do have a problem with the italicized font you have used under the search
option. It's not easy to read on the lined background...but then my eyes
are old too :)

I also think you would be better to stick with a black font on that
background for ease of reading and using different colored fonts is
distracting to the eye.

Once you have the "meat" all nicely in place, then you can put your logo
and the other small info in the center under it all.

I think you have the makings of a really nice site here.
