Paul,
I *love* the color scheme and the front page is sure packed with plenty of
good information.
My only gripe would be that your center panel is too long in comparison
with the side panels and when you scroll down it looks a little "empty" on
the left and right...but you did say that you haven't added all the content
yet, so maybe that will even it out.
If it doesn't, I would consider moving some stuff to another page, so that
it looks more balanced.
I only took a quick look at the front page and I think once the center
panel is balanced more with the sides lengthwise, it will be terrific.
