For whatever reason, I am getting the posts on this particular thread in my 
*in* box and the filters to HWG critiques are failing.

That may have caused some of the initial confusion if others are also 
receiving these posts in the wrong mailbox and thus responding to the list 
rather than to the appropriate party.
