Hi Bev:
I enjoyed visiting your site and reading the stories. Most of the pages=20
loaded extremely quickly. The Blue-on-light-purplish text is legible and=20
not annoying. And I liked the graphics as well. They made me feel --=20
peaceful, thoughtful. (I am fond of the color blue.)
I looked at it using Netscape Communicator 4.5 on a Win 98/speedy=20
machine/cable modem/1024x768.
I think there are some problems with “ and ” on a number of=20
pages. For example:
Wasted Time
Nasruddin, ferrying a pedant across a piece of rough water, said something=
=20
ungrammatical to him. “Have you never studied grammar?”, asked=
=20
the scholar. “No.”, replied Nasruddin. “Then half your=20
life has been wasted.” A few minutes later Nasruddin turned to the=20
passenger, “Have you ever learned to swim?” “No.=20
Why?”, asked the man. “Then ALL your life has been wasted =96 we=
=20
are sinking.”
Science Experiment
When the Mulla was a science teacher he liked to conduct this rather=20
strange experiment: He would freeze some water in a mould in the shape of a=
=20
jug. When frozen, he would then quickly fill this “jug of ice”=
=20
with water, place it all in the ocean and watch it disappear.
