I've re-done many parts of my Web site, using many suggestions I've picked 
up from this and other HWG lists.

I'm particularly concerned about:

1.  How does it look on various platforms (Mac, recent versions of IE, 
recent versions of Netscape)?

2.  Speed.  It seems to me that the time to connect (I guess that's the 
time between when the browser calls for the page and when the server first 
responds) is very long.  Is that true?  And then time to display.

Any other feedback is welcome as well.

I already know that the search feature is dreadful.  Helpful suggestions 
about how to implement an automatic search of a site that uses PHP 
extensively (so the file name is NOT the name of the page we want users to 
see) are particularly welcome.
