Hi. Viewed with Win98, Pentium II, IE 5, DSL
First of all, if you are going to provide web design services
professionally, I would get off the freebie site. Web hosting and domains
are too cheap these days not to have your own domain. When I originally
went to the site, the ad timed out on loading. Stuff like that is avoidable
with your own paid web space.
You're right about the "matter." You don't have any content to let people
know anything about what you do. You could use a portfolio(or sample pages
if you are new) and some more details as to the work you do. Just saying
you do Flash isn't quite enough IMO. Do you do just simple HTML and Flash?
Could you create databases? Scripting? I would write down the skills you
have that you know you can sell to potential clients and add those to your
sites with some explanation.
The design of the site itself is bland. I would invest in some quality
graphics, either made by you or by hiring a professional graphic designer.
Graphics are a part of web sites, too.
The pricing page-Personally I would leave pricing off all together but lots
of people do put their pricing on their site. If I were to list prices, I
would probably be a little more specific than you have been. You have to be
careful not to under or overcharge, which can be difficult :)
Overall, I think you have a bit of work ahead of you before you can unlease
your site to the public. However, the site was clean and that is a good
start. So many starting out have all sorts of crap on their sites :)
