Brian,
The site looks wonderful, and I especially enjoyed the "Regarding me"
section. There are not too many sites out there that have that much of a
"human" touch to them. The feelings you conveyed are evident in your
photography, and although they stand on their own as wonderful works of art,
having the thoughts of the artist conveyed in such a way makes the experience
seem more . . . real. (This is a hard one to describe, so accept my
apologizies if the term seems crude.) :)
Now, on to the more technical stuff: Viewed on a P166, 16 bit high color,
33.6Kbps, 14" monitor. All the pages loaded rather quickly, so I wouldn't
worry about the size. The image quality of the pictures was suprising given
the sizes. (I figured they would appear grainy and was pleased at the
quality.) I (as have the others who responded) have bookmarked your page, am
am looking forward to updates. Keep up the good work.

<< Greetings, once again, campers.
For the past week, I have been working on a personal
project of my own. I decided to create a page of my
photography.
The page has a photo gallery of my backpacking trips
to Pisgah National Forest and The Great Smoky Mountains.
I have only added the images that I thought were best.
I am *in no way* a professional photographer.
Besides being a gallery of my images, it was an
experimental page, for various reasons. I bought a scanner,
and I have been learning to use it. I have also been trying
to learn Adobe Illustrator 7 <gasp/shrug>.
I must note that some of the images in the gallery are
pretty high-res., so, of course, they are going to be
larger (nothing over 54k); also, I am *very* new to
scanning (as noted above).
So, if you could, please critique my new place, considering
the following:
[1] Browser, Resolution, O/S, Connection, Display Size
[2] HTML
[3] Graphics, Color, Layout, Navigation
[4] Did you enjoy the site?
[5] If I added more images, would you return?
[6] Too much content? Too little? Was the content boring?
[7] Too many images? Too little?
[8] If you could change 3 things, what would they be?
[9] What did you hate most? What did you like most?
If that was not enough categories, please feel free to add
as much as you like :)
As always, I would appreciate anything you have to say.
