Those that feel the need to be ugly towards others have a problem that cannot
be resolved here. Since the internet is vitually anonymous people will say
anything and feel justified in doing so. You will find this to be true in any
list, any BB on any topic on the internet.
Many people mistakenly think critique means "no holds barred" and some take a
"You don't know Jack" attitude. This is true in any forum - not only this one.
Yet, in fact, 'critique' is defined as "...the art of evaluating or analyzing
with knowledge and propriety...".
Perhaps these people feel there is no need to use business ettiquette (or
netiquette) in this forum. Perhaps they are not aware of the consequences of
alienating themselves towards potential contacts or customers in this high
profile forum. (Recall this list is archived and there are over 70,000 members
in the HWG).
Remember this: You and only you control how you feel. Nobody can hurt you
unless *you let them*. Also remember - when you hate the the haters - you
become a hater too.
Do not let bitter remarks influence your ambitions to learn, to be the best
you can be and to do the best job you can.
Best wishes to all in 1999
Kindest regards,
Lovey Kelly
