Hi Tenley,
Took a trip to your site which loaded pretty quick. Couple of points I
will mention.
Although the text does look attractive the way it is set out, I found it
difficult to read, was too small and the color
on the main text (not the upper case) was not so clearly defined.
On the main home page as the content does not cover the entire page, the
whole content was displayed right at the top and to one side of the page,
leaving large area below etc., empty. Perhaps you could add a little extra
text similar to the other pages and then it would look more balanced.
I myself don't care to see links "to top" - this is also included on the
first page even though the whole content is there in front of you and no
need to vertical scroll. Actually, even on the pages with content calling
for scrolling, on my machine at least, I found scrolling to be minimal.
On the "Calendar" page the layout format is not the same and lacking the
main menue. There was a provision for returning "home" - I myself didn't
want to go back to home page but to continue down the left hand
menu....suggest the layout for the calendar of events be put in the same
format as the rest of the site which would also give viewers the full range
of navigational options.
Thought the background scheme very attractive and perfect for the subject
matter - apart from the above small points,
thought the site design very well done and as a whole very well displayed.
