I never tried the slower server, but on the new one got that darn Geocities
window anytime the main page is accessed.
IMO: The logo looks good and the brighter blue images are nice and clear, but
the buttons are a darker blue color (matching the logo?) and it just detracts
slightly. Might want to coordinate the hue, or make them a third, contrasting
color.
The white text on the buttons is a little hard to read. Could be a few
reasons:
-The smallness of the font. You have a big button and could get away with
larger font, maybe a more simple font. It will stand up to format change
better.
-The format you are in when applying the text. If you increase the color depth
of the image to 16mil, then apply the text, then reduce your color depth back
to 256 before you save as .gif, the text will hold up well and wont get the
distorting "halo" around it.

There were three links on the main page, two did not reach a page. The third
was Deposit rates (where I got that darn goecities window first) There is a
line "for more DR info Email debbie..." which ran accross the whole page, into
the left border. The font is really huge, so lowering the size may keep that
from happening. If you want to keep the size, try placing the line in a table
that is maybe 80% the page width so it always stays readable on the page no
matter the browser size.

Good start. Taking on a bank site sounds like a lot of work... and upkeep!
Would like to see your progress as this site comes together.
