I really enjoyed the layout, design, graphics, colors. Extremely professional
look and feel to the pages. Everything loaded fast (graphics pages
understandably a little longer) and all was easy to read.
Content and navigation was a little confusing, especially if I was just a
surfer looking for castle information.
It seemed that the priority of the page was the technical design, copyright
and plug-in features of the site. The castle seemed buried within the
information.
>From the splash page I came to a page with many links that take the visitor
away from the page. They do open in a new window, but none of them have to do
with the castle, they have to do with technical aspects of the site. Its also
a chance to lose the attention of your visitor.
I went to Enter and got another (more relevent) start page. I again went to
Enter and got another page with the first links being more technical info
about the site, awards, a link back to where I just came from, and guestbook.
. There are great links farther down the page for pics and history. IMHO, the
history page would be the first click. Most visitors to the page would be
most interested in that aspect and the pictures.
Lots of work went into this site, I would hate to see you lose your visitors
too soon.
Also might want to consider your keywords in your meta tag, with the most
relevant or popular ("castle"?) being first on the list.
