The fixed background causes the content to "jump" and "flash" horribly as the
page is scrolled. I must suggest that a fix on this background is not
particularly necessary, as the BG image is so subtle it is hardly noticed.
Of course the "flash" is only when viewed on MSIE, but then again the
attribute is only supported in MSIE :)

One note about the JS being used for navigation - my MSIE 3.02 does not
support JavaScript, therefore could not view some of your pages (graphic,
uniform, catalog, colors, feedback and order) as the navigation (drop down)
didn't work. Those elusive pages were linked to elsewhere in the site, but the
navigation layout/familiarity is not there. Just a little scattered.
Of course in the browsers I used that support JS all worked well.

The opening page, and site section main pages have lots of navigation
available (left nav images, bottom nav images, item links and drop down) but
if an item link is clicked, there is no navigation on the page. There are a
few links on the page, but no navigation. May want to link to colors, contact,
order, email, home and section main page on each of the item pages.
Always support the visitor's impulse buying tendancy by supplying "to order
form" links. By not using secure shopping/ online buying (you use a mail in/
fax form) you are missing out on some of that impulsive buying, therefore you
must make it as simple as you can for visitors to buy.

On the order page, the second column (Item) has more text in the header,
causing the entry squares in that column to be pushed down. In some browsers
its minimal, in others its quite apparent. You might try placing the headers
in one table, and the entry spaces in a second table so that they are not
affected by the extra text.

Overall, excellent work. Continuity with navigation and alternate (non JS)
navigation for the above mentioned pages would be helpful.

This looks very cool. Interesting start. I did noticed that you had the
(dreaded:) fixed attribute on the background causing the annoying "jump" and
"flash" when the page was scrolled. Here again, this attribute doesn't seem to
add anything to the pages, as the background is designed so you wouldn't be
able to see it move even if the fix was not there.

The image maps had very quick load time.

The alt text pop ups (home page) were as follows:
MSIE said "image map" for whole image. I don't think this is something you can
avoid. NN had seperate alt text for "competition", "introduction", etc.,
however, the "introduction" alt text was repeated for the "getting started"
section. Unless they are the same place, may want to look at that.

Good work on all.
Have fun,

EA
