I plan to return to your site when I have more time tonight. I'm sure there is
alot I will want to read but can't right now.
First impression upon landing there... The logo is of acceptible size, but
could probably be "downsized" to about 15k (is now about 34k) because it is
black and white. The same for the Image of Outfest (it is now about 65k).
Those are pretty "heavy" for first impression images and load time is long.
The words "Southern Cal's Gay and Lesbian Newspaper" could be more subtle.
They don't really have to be so BIG. Making those smaller.. like size 14, and
part of the Logo would have a more "professional appeal" (similar to how the
image Outfest adds the words "G&L Film festival" after their logo)
Lowering the size of those words would free up an inch or two in your "above
the fold" space (The content that first appears in the user's browser) This
would raise your feature story to appear prominantly, and maybe let Boy
George's picture peek up from the bottom.  Get my drift?
